When people in Littlehampton, including conservative local, Edith (Olivia Colman) begin receiving letters full of hilarious profanities, the rowdy, Irish migrant, Rose (Jessie Buckley), is charged with the crime. Suspecting that something is amiss, the town's women investigate.
